Rec League REVISED Rules:
- Each team will have a goalie with full goalie gear (provided if you do not have your own) - we have sign ups for full time goalies. If we do not get 3 full time goalies, we will have a sign up where girls on each team can rotate through goalie each week.
- Offsides and penalties will be called. Penalties will result in a penalty shot.
- A player will only be allowed to score 3 goals in a game. If they happen to score a 4th, it will not count toward the team score.
- The League Apps app will keep track of league standings when scores are recorded after the games. At the end of the season, we will crown a first place team, second, and third place team.
- Player Minimum / Substitute Rule
If a team arrives with fewer than six (6) skaters required for 4-on-4 play, substitute players may be provided from another team to allow the game to be played as scheduled. However, any team utilizing substitute players under this rule will be recorded as having a 1-0 loss, regardless of the game's outcome. This policy ensures that all teams have the opportunity to play their scheduled games while maintaining the integrity of league standings and season placement.
As a reminder, the purpose of Rec League is to teach the girls the rules of the game, help them develop their skills, give them a chance to play with and against other girls, help them make friends off the ice, and to have fun. We hope your daughter will enjoy her time with us and learn as much as possible about the game!
